This is why I love Edgar Wright and these guys, their DVD/Blu-ray releases are just chock full of extras like the trivia track.
As far as the movie in general being too “homoerotic,” found out from the commentary that Edgar Wright actually had a love interest for Simon Pegg’s character, but they thought the character would be superfluous and hurt the narrative. So instead, they gave all her dialogue to Nick Frost’s character, sometimes completely unaltered.
I think I’ve reblogged this before, but FUCK IT! The BOSS of all BOSSES! They modeled the Tony Stark comic character after Timothy Dalton haha.
Contemplating whether or not I should go to this… I REALLY want to go, but I don’t want to go alone lol. A chance to see Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Hot Fuzz, AND Shaun of the Dead in theaters (the latter two I never got to see in theaters) in one night!? Plus The Castro Theatre is probably one of the most gorgeous theaters I’ve ever been to. So tempting!
