It has been big week of firsts: first real nursing classes, first clinical, first time I’ve used the Muni metro, first time I haven’t watched a movie in an entire week (okay… that one’s more like since 2006 or 2007 haha).
I don’t know why, but I was REALLY stressing out about the classes I had to attend. I don’t know, I guess I thought the instructors would be completely assholes but they turned out to be EXTREMELY nice and friendly. The more stressful part is staying on top of all the readings, homework, skills, and other stuff that I need to keep track of to keep myself from falling behind.
Now that this first week is done school feels… I don’t want to say manageable because it still feels overwhelming, but I’ll say more manageable than it was before the first week of classes. I’m basically just studying, reading, doing work round the clock with occasional breaks for relaxing (or trying to) as well as eating and drinking water to make sure I don’t die lol. As I’ve said many times before, I’m a worrier, so I am nervous as hell about this semester, but at the same time I’m unbelievably excited to learn as much as I can about nursing.
